This site is powered by WordPress 2.0 running on Apache 2.0 on Linux. It was designed and hand-coded by Becky using the Swedish text editor Smultron.

Jimmy records all of the videos using a Sony HDR-HC1 camera, recording in HDV mode. The footage is transferred to Final Cut Pro 5 on a dual 2.0 PowerMac G5 with a 30-inch Cinema Display. It is then edited and mixed with some animations created in Motion 2.

Each episode is rendered with QuickTime 7’s H.264 in three resolutions: 320×180 (128kbit), 640×360 (512kbit), and 1280×720 (2mbit). The smallest resolution includes mono AAC audio at 64kbit, while the others include stereo AAC audio at 128kbit (unless we’re using a hand-held mic, where it’s only mono anyway).

Most of Becky’s photos are shot with a Canon 10D and a EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. For the yummiest photos she’ll pull out the EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens.

Some remote-location shots are taken with a super-portable Sony T7.
