Community

35unger is a community of foodies who either lived at or spent a lot of time at 35 Unger Lane in Pittsburgh while attending Carnegie Mellon University. We are all designers or engineers, and now we are scattered all over the globe. This site was the brainchild of Becky and Erin, and we hope that the others will join in soon.

Becky is a graphic designer in Atlanta. She is a vegetarian who enjoys crème brûlée, British pre-made sandwiches, Inca Kola and pasta with just olive oil & thin slices of Parmigiano-Reggiano. She loves to bake, so if you ask her really nicely, she very well may bake for you.

Erin is a mechanical engineer in Washington, D.C. She adores Alton Brown, and she was excited when he called her last March. She likes to make up recipes on the spot, using whatever ingredients she has around. She likes zucchini, yogurt with fruit & müsli, and whatever Becky is baking.

Jimmy is a software engineer in southern Sweden. He will try any type of coffee drink at least once. He also loves Mexican food and Neuhaus pralines. He really dislikes mushrooms and olives, but he likes olive oil. While enjoying a good $7 steak in Argentina, he also fancies some Malbec.
